This little Museum is a little gem for those interested in Low Country history. Loads of interesting things are very compactly displayed. There is a large & working scale model of a wind-powered sawmill that is bound to fascinate everyone. Sheldon "Bud" Hill is the curator and is often there to regale you with facts and stories of the Low Country with emphasis on N. Charleston County up through Williamsburg County. He is photographer part of the duo that authored the "The Unpainted South" in 2011.
This place was so quaint and nicely packed with local artists talents from pottery, jewelry, clothing, metal works and more. Lady at register very kind and helpful. McClennanville is perfect town to tide through and spend a relaxing day!
Nice & very interesting.
